Toonces revisited

A note to all motor vehicle owners...when not in your car, it is a good idea to roll up your windows. Driving home yesterday I saw a parked car in a driveway with it's driver's side window open, and a cat sitting there looking in. I wasn't so concerned until I saw another cat appear from inside the car, crawl out of the window and jump to the ground.

Who knows what these cats want, but you better hope you didn't spill any grapenuts in your car.

"Toonces, the driving cat. The cat who could drive a car. He drives around, all over the town. Toonces, the driving cat!"

The original premier of this sketch was one of the best things SNL ever did.

I would have to say I agree. We used to have a lot of stray cats in our neighborhood, and my next door neighbor left his car windows open a lot. One day, he was getting into his car to go to school when he heard mewling and squeaking from the back seat. He turned to look and there was a black cat in the backseat on his jacket, along with the 6 babies she gave birth to, right there on the seat.

I left my windows open and was actually driving in reverse to back out of the driveway and I heard a rusty old meow from my back seat. Turns out it was my neighbor's old orange tomcat, Bud. I had to stop the car, open the back door and lift his twenty pound body out of the car. When I did that, he sat and pouted on the sidewalk as I left.

I'm not sure what's worse, having a cat deliver babies in your car or dealing with a cat's attitude.
Oh and my friend has a group of cats that he started from one male and one female about 3 years ago. The kids and grandkids keep mating with each other and he's got some very interesting 'cats' over there. Good thing he lives out in the country.
